The Institute of History and Civilization, Esbjerg, offers a position as Assistant Professor in International Tourism.

The position is available from 1st January 2012 and for a period of three years.
Employment will cease without further notice at the end of the period.

The position as Assistant professor is available to qualified PhD candidates, with demonstrable research and teaching potential, including those seeking a first appointment. We would particularly welcome applications in the areas of international tourism, communication and innovation.

We expect applicants to communicate a passion for your subject and be enthusiastic about research carried out at the highest possible standards. The successful candidate will be part of the Centre for Tourism, Innovation and Culture (TIC), led by Dr. Janne J. Liburd. Appointment in this position will also encompass teaching obligations in regard to related degree programmes.

The successful applicant will be employed in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional ssociations)
