Assistant Professor (W1) in Management Analytics

Being one of the largest business schools in the German speaking countries, we offer an active research environment, a broad variety of research opportunities and provide support in advancing career perspectives. Since the successful candidate‘s primary focus shall be on research, we also offer an attractive teaching load and support. Research budget and salary are competitive at the European level.

We are looking for an excellent junior researcher in the field of ‘Management Analytics‘ with an ongoing stream of high quality research. A successful candidate is dedicated to the rigorous application of quantitative research (descriptive / predictive or prescriptive analytics) in one of the following fields: Accounting & Taxation; Banking, Finance & Insurance; Economic & Business Education; Information Systems; Management; Marketing & Sales; Operations Management. We will prefer candidates with a research focus on big data, digitalization or artificial intelligence. Candidates will be expected to make a significant and independent contribution to the teaching in the field of ‘Management Analytics‘ and assist in the development of the course offering at the business school.

According to § 51 Abs. 2 and 3 LHG (state university law of the state Baden-Wuerttemberg), applicants should have acquired an outstanding Ph.D. degree and additional academic achievements that qualify for the position as an assistant professor. They should also provide evidence of educational qualification. Applicants have to meet the requirements of § 47 LHG of the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg.
