The School of Politics, Philosophy, Language and Communication Studies is looking to recruit a Lecturer in Political Communications to join our dynamic department of Political, Social and International Studies. The post holder will be expected to carry out and produce internationally excellent and world leading research. You will be expected to contribute to, and lead on, teaching in political communications, media and society modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The post holder will also carry out teaching-related duties, such as preparing lessons, creating and marking examinations and assessments, and providing quality feedback to students. You will be expected to contribute to the smooth running of the politics, cultural politics and media subject areas, actively participate in the research culture and work collaboratively with a team of colleagues to ensure that modules are delivered to the highest standard. The post holder is also expected to contribute to the wider School community and support recruitment and outreach events.

This full-time post is available from 1 August 2021 on an indefinite basis.
